Pink, music, pink, music.

Duuuuude. 

Look what my parents bought me, a brand new iPod nano! It's my back-to-school present. For the past year I've been "borrowing" my little sister's iPod because mine was stolen at school. This is the perfect gift, not just because it's pink, but because it will make my commute this fall more enjoyable.

I'm off to  create playlists and buy the new She & Him album.

Thanks, parents. You guys are incredibly thoughtful and sweet.

They are both smiling!!!!

What a lazy bum! He can't even stand up to nurse.

The little girl is a delight. A DELIGHT.  

I figured that just posting these pictures (and more!) on Facebook wasn't enough. The whole world needs to see the cuteness that is baby goats. You are so very welcome, world.

These kids were born May 20th, with assistance from Midwife Lee. (That would be my mother.) Of course, the little boy was stuck somehow and Midwife Lee had to...intervene. Poppy and kids are doing well after a round of penicillin just in case. Poppy is the best goat mommy I've got in my herd. She allows the little boy (named Dusty) to jump all over her and bully the other goat mommies. It's rather a hilarious sight to see. The little girl (named Desi) is a dollface. I like to go out at night when she's sleeping and cuddle her. Aaahh, too much cuteness.

Orientation Report

I'm back from orientation and here to say: I survived. 

It was really well run and I managed to snag two of the classes I needed (and wanted).

My hair is really starting to look ridiculous. I need to do something about it. The only issue is that I've got no motivation to a) fix it in the mornings, or b) take myself to the hair cuttery. 

(Get thee to the hair cuttery!) 

Ehh, I figure I'll get a hair cut before college starts in August.

Speaking of college, tomorrow is orientation. I'm too tired to be excited, though. I have put together all my transcripts, directions, maps, and a list of my top ten courses. Preparation is my {sometimes} middle name.

This post may be belated, but the cake was not. I baked it promptly for Mom's birthday (April 13th), but then...well, I don't know. Stuff happened; I became even lazier than I usually am. Y'know, the usual. 

It was a yummy cake, however! 

It's Just a Perfect Day

I use to watch this Royal Ballet production on rainy days as a kid. Since it's one of those perpetually gloomy weeks, I figured I should find and share some clips today. Jemima Puddle-Duck has one of the funniest dances, wiggly bottom and all (above).
